Our Team

Cari Tellis, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a Professor in the Speech-Language Pathology Department at Misericordia University, a certified speech-language pathologist  and  voice  specialist  with over 20 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of voice disorders. Dr. Tellis is an Estill Master Teacher (EMT) and Estill Mentor and Course Instructor (EMCI) in Estill Voice Training. Dr. Tellis initially completed her training in voice disorders and dysphagia at the UPMC Voice and Swallowing Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She has worked in outpatient and inpatient rehab, inpatient acute care, and long-term acute care settings. Her groundbreaking research in voice and motor learning has had an impact on the way voice instruction is approached and executed.

Erin Roberts, M.S., CCC-SLP is an award-winning clinician and researcher. A graduate of the Misericordia University Speech-Language Pathology Department, Erin is now a faculty member in the Department. Erin specializes in child speech and language, Autism Spectrum Disorder, adult cognition and language, and pediatric feeding and swallowing, as well as voice, and dysphagia. Erin completed training at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and has gained clinical experience in a variety of treatment facilities, including inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, home health, and school settings. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Johns Hopkins University in the area of brain and learning.

Rommina Suarez, BS, is our Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. She brings experience in administration, personnel coordination, logistics, database management, customer service, and office operations. Her previous roles have included coordinating personnel and maintaining records and training databases, as well as providing administrative and logistical support. Rommina also has a background in English-language education and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
